We measure server response time (TTFB), full page load time and Google Core Web Vitals using a standardised WordPress test site deployed on each provider's entry-level plan. Tests are run from three geographic regions and averaged. Scores above 8/10 indicate sub-500ms TTFB.
Uptime Score (📶)
We monitor each provider's infrastructure with 60-second intervals over a 90-day rolling window using UptimeRobot. The uptime score is derived from measured uptime percentage against the provider's advertised SLA. 10/10 = 99.99%+ actual uptime. Below 99.5% is penalised heavily.
